By using CONSUMED (the "Service") at consumedonline.com or the desktop app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
CONSUMED is a private, local-first note-taking and canvas tool. It is offered in early access ("as is" and "as available"). Features may change, and there may be interruptions or bugs. Your content is stored primarily on your own device.
You own everything you create in CONSUMED. We claim no ownership or licence over it, and — because it lives on your device — we generally cannot access it. You are responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups (use ⋯ → Export backup, and/or enable cloud sync to your Google Drive).
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or compromise the Service or other users. Since your data is local, most activity is entirely on your own machine.
CONSUMED does not require an account to use. If you connect Google Drive for sync, your use of Google's services is also governed by Google's own terms, and you're responsible for your Google account.
Some features may be offered as a paid plan in future. Pricing, billing terms, and refund policy will be presented at the point of purchase and form part of these Terms once you subscribe.
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use it at your own risk. We are not responsible for loss of data stored on your device; keep backups.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CONSUMED and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as, for consumers, your statutory rights).
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your data (⋯ → Delete all my data). We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date will change and material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
